    Thanks.

I haven't heard anything about TV. I would hope & think they find a TV deal for this cuz they do got some sellable guys (Diaz, Solomon, Lawson, CVH) at the TV level. Someone should be interested although it could only be CBS Sports or something like that maybe, but TV is better than no TV.

This will help establish relevance for a fringe #10 guy. Don't see any reason something like this shouldn't happen.

If a new "boogeyman" like Spence emerges...he'll have a larger audience from the start making the risk/reward better.

Spence still remains a relative nobody among casuals. They don't know Crawford or Spence. Maybe heard of Lomachenko. But they don't know these guys. Boxing fans tried to make them out to be superstars, but they aren't.

The superstars are still only Canelo, Anthony Joshua, and (largely because of Canelo) Golovkin. Manny is no longer a superstar. I told a friend about his upcoming fight and they responded, "that guy's still fighting?".

Wilder, Fury, and Ward are known among their contingent, but they are far from superstars. Wilder is a flake, Ward is boring and not "entertaining" during the build-up, and Fury is too inactive (great charisma/personality, but vanishes too often).

Loma, TC remain the most likely to cross-over, but they aren't getting younger and need to make some splashes if they want it to happen

ok - read the article in 15 seconds - just glanced through the names. Crap - pure crap - unless you want to call it a prospects comp - but then some of those names are not even genuine prospects at world level. Why bother?

Looks great. I believe this is more about discovering world class fighters than it is containing world class fighters.

However I think that's the charm. It will be nice to open some spotlight to fighters who come out of this better and of course the winner.

The likes of Spence, Thurman, Porter, Garcia, Brook, Khan aren't going to be forced into a tournament. So why not have one to develop the next name(s) to join those ranks in the future?

What a crappy tournament. What is the purpose of this other than to try to get Holyfield’s promotional company some attention?

I love tournaments so I'm down. Would have been better with atleast 2 big names but whatever, I ll try to keep up.

sure, maybe someone will emerge and for a division like 168 where there seemed to be a real lack of big names, it made sense. But at welter, they're flooded with big names and talent so it's highly unlikely any of these guys will come out of this tournament as a ppv caliber opponent for someone like Spence, Crawford, Thurman or even guys like garcia and porter. Time will tell though.

Nobody will be a PPV star by the end, but they'll be more attractive and marketed for the likes of Danny, Keith, Shawn, etc.

Instead of the current issue where Shawn Porter is trying to be friends with Spence instead of fighting him or Keith "sometimes" Thurman is trying to push the fight back at every interview (2018, 2019, 2020, 2025, etc.). Danny Garcia is irrelevant if we're honest.

Only guy who WANTS to fight everyone is actually Jeff Horn and Terrence Crawford. Real rap

Diaz is the best known here, but I don't see him as Godzilla. We could see a new emerge out of the other guys.
