Groves “schooling” Eubank Jr. is exaggerating. As Eubank Sr. said, Eubank Jr. had no frequency or combinations to at least win perspective from the judges. Eubank should’ve pressed on earlier in the fight not later in the fight. Eubank Jr. dismissed what he’s blessed with, stamina. I can’t give him benefit of the doubt that he couldn’t perform because of his eye, it’s because he let Groves stay comfortable at distance just wasting time throughout rounds. He surely felt Groves power at 168
No its because he couldn't intelligently cut the distance ffs he was rugby tackling Groves just to close the damn distance it was extremely crude and unprofessional a better referee would not have allowed Eubank to do what he did in most of his successful spells because they weren't exactly legal.

Eubank Jr got worse though. I picked him to win the tournament but that guy isn't taking himself seriously.

Funny how Jacobs was a bum when he signed to fight Golovkin but now "he beats groves" by the same folks who called him a bum. Jacobs and Eubanks are two different type of fighters. DJ would want to fight Groves like he did Golovkin but he wouldn't be able to overpower the inside and fighting on the inside makes him super susceptible to the overhand right which is his and has been his kryptonite. Groves hits from everywhere with bad intentions. DJ would have to jab on the back foot the first few rounds and try to lead Groves into a powerful left to win that fight. He just wouldn't have a size advantage here to wear down his man and put in work. Interesting fight though.

Nah it would be a very close fight and Jacobs would be fighting someone who is physically just as big as him. Can go either way

Jacobs is good, but I suspect a lot of his success at middleweight comes from him being huge.

He won't have the size advantage vs Groves.

Agreed. Jacobs' chin is complete glass. Put him in with a guy like GGG and he wouldn't last 3 rounds. Oh wait...

Jacobs might not win the fight but I'm sure he'd take the moral victory

Got a “boxing lesson” from Groves...
Managed poorly by his his dad

Jacobs doe, beat Traux, the current 168 Champion...
Jacobs is sound boxer with movement compared to Eubank Jr.

Oh no wait, Miracle Man and another milking at 160 nevermind. Just wishful thinking. Traux doesn’t exist either
Nah man, the man at 168 is Benavidez but Groves ain't no slouch.

Groves has gotten better, and a green Groves gave Froch 2 tough fights, and arguably got robbed the first one.

It would be a cool fight, Groves made Jr look like a bum wich is somehow a performance.

I favored Danny over any 168 champ before this week end.
Now I think Benavidez stops Jacobs and Groves vs DJ is a 50-50 fight iMO.

That's why he ran for 12 rounds and got schooled on the backfoot, yet still he couldn't stop his glass chin from showing and that was Jacobs having a 15-20lbs weight advantage, glass.

                      Groves would have Pirog'd him.
