Yawl really hate eubank that much? Smh.. that was a great fight.. he was a 160 pounder with no coach.. fighting a big 168 champion.. plus.. his cut man failed miseably.. he let the man bleed out. Losing blood makes you tired an changes your thinking.. if they rematch 6 months from now chris wins. Imho
Grooves own TEAM told Eubank go back down to 160 and get a REAL team and then rebuild.Last edited by Shadoww702; 02-19-2018, 08:56 AM.Comment

The words NO man wants to hear. And they get to be anonymous while your dragged through the mud. One of my friends was accused of it and he wasnt even AT the party she got too drunk at. He had to prove where he was, numerous witnesses, and they still barely wanted to drop it.Comment

However, he was correct about the first part. This was an average sized middleweight facing a big super middleweight. Plain to see just looking at them in the ring. From the moment Eubank announced his fight with Renold Quinlan at 168, I thought it was a mistake. He is not big enough to beat the top guys. At middleweight he can use his first class motor/stamina/workrate and make up for his weaknesses as a technical boxer by using his strength on the inside. His insane strength and conditioning are worth a hell of a lot more when facing guys your same size compared to guys who outweigh you by 15lbs in the ring. And it wouldn’t hurt for Eubank to pick up a legit boxing trainer to work a bit on his boxing, because he has all the aspects to be a great fighter at middleweight, but his boxing skills have lots of room for improvement. Like how he almost has no jab and always attempts to lunge in with left hooks like he is Roy Jones Jr or somethingComment

For people complaining about the cut man - Junior should be thanking that man the fight did not get stopped. That fight should have been much more problematic than it was. As it stands it stayed shut for many rounds and was only a problem after the 9th. In fact they did such a good job stopping the flow while he maintained his aggressive headfirst attack that I would love to know what their adrenaline solution composition was.Comment

Taking that half step back caused all sorts of confusion for Eubank.
Good veteran move by the more experienced Groves.Comment
