Its just funny. Everyone wants to fight Thurman. No one wants anything to do with Spence. Spence has a belt too, but no one ever mentions Spence. They act like he is in a different division or something.
The easy answer would be to see what fights Thurman actually does line up and not Errol Spence Jr.

Depending on when Danny wants to fight again, a fight against Jessie Vargas would make a lot of sense (Victor Ortiz even showed some heart in losing to Alexander, damn the scores, so that's viable too).

Let the schedule line up first.

Keith Thurman will likely fight a bum and then Shawn Porter. Errol Spence Jr fought Lamont Peterson in January, will likely end up fighting Yordenis Ugas in Dallas in June, and likely closes out the year with Alexander/Ortiz, before setting the sites on Keith Thurman in early 2019. Danny just fought in Las Vegas, and he'll likely fight again on one of the New York dates in the second half of the year.

Amir Khan needs fights, Jamal James and the young welters are coming on to form, and then you still have fights like Collazo-Berto 2 to get to.

Rematch with Thurman will ebbing ae results. Danny doesn't throw enough shots to win because Keith has a superior work rate and doesn't stand there to be hit.

A match people want to see. Plus no one won the first one. There isn’t a bigger fight than GGG vs Canelo in the MW division. Garcia vs Thurman is not the biggest fight in WW division.

Better chance of fighting an actual dinosaur than fighting Crawford.
          Mayweather vs Pacman

Correct. And it took years and years to happen, with so many HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of dollars at stake, that Bob finally caved since Pacquiao was at the end of his run anyway.

Unless Crawford vs. a top Haymon welter, is going to generate that kind of money, there's no reason to believe it'll ever happen.

That's the thing, everyone already knows Thurman is fighting a bum in May and Porter late in the year. Which means the soonest DSG could realistically get his rematch would be about May of 2019. I don't know if Danny wants to risk a fight with someone like Vargas. He loses to Vargas, he isn't getting a rematch or Spence. If Swift loses to Spence, hey he just lost to a real killer and #1 p4p. No shame in that. He can go from that to a fight with Vargas or Porter. But a loss to someone like Vargas or Khan ruins DSG's career.

                What about Spence's mandatory?

As expected very little uproar about him not being willing to fight Spence. Not the least bit shocking.

These guys are willing to fight anybody. It's a question of what makes business sense. Haymon needs to make sure he has major welterweight title fights for years to come. If everybody fights everybody all the time, they'll all lose and suddenly nobody will care about any of them.

Garcia is being groomed to be next year's WBC mandatory. So that the Thurman/Spence winner has a big fight that can be built to.

All these guys are going to fight each other. They're just not going to all fight each other tomorrow.

Why would ANYONE want to fight Spence over Thurman? Thurman is a bigger name, who brings more money to the table, who has more & more recognized belts, and many seem to think Thurman might be the easier fight.

You add all that up and you'd be a moron to prefer to fight Spence.
Danny and Thurman both made 2 million for their unification fight.

Spence and Danny both just made 1.2 million respectively to fight Peterson and Rios.

You'd have to be a moron to think they'll make anything less than 2 million to fight each other.

Just as you'd have to be a moron to think fighting Spence and winning the IBF would hurt Danny's chances at getting another unification with Thurman.

You dudes need new material. It's getting ridiculous at this point.
