Jacobs taking undefeated "O's" left and right. BJS didn't want none so stop crying. this is a solid matchup.

      Well why would BJS accept?

Like I said BJS is in the best position since he's got the belt. The only guy Jacobs should wanna fight besides GGG or Canelo is BJS cuz if he wins that fight it gives him the same leverage BJS current has. And therefore it makes no sense for BJS to chance it.

Come on man this is pretty basic stuff. I understand we all wish this was a sport more than a business. But its not. At this level specifically this is more business than sport & some of this sh^t makes no sense if you think about the business angle & the divisional landscape.

Why would either accept? Both are looking at better possible pay days without the risk of somebody derailing it. I'm with you on all this. I just don't think Jacobs or Derevyanchenko are really a part of the "fight nobody till we can get GGG or Canelo" problem at middleweight.

Idk about Dere to be fair & thats why I haven't committed on him so much. Admittedly I've not followed his potential movements lately although I do seem to recall there was some talk of a fight with Andrade which clearly isn't an un-risky fight.

But Jacobs is higher on the to do list I feel like & he's certainly got more value to be a B side vs the top guys now so idk why they WOULDN'T be very careful with how they move him til they get a better feel for the landscape at 160. And these opponent selections suggest just that.

And right now he's on the shortlist of opponents for the winner (I'm arguing #2 which could mean he fights the loser after May). So to me that says lets netflix & chill to see what happens after May before we start making big moves. If BJS fights the winner & the loser fights Dere or someone else then maybe Jacobs needs to make a bigger move in the 2nd half of 2018 to make sure he's at the front of the line in 2019.

Sulecki campaigned at 154 last year only... All his previous fights were at 160 or above!

I hope the division makes bigger moves as whole soon. This is starting to remind me of the welterweights in the Mayweather Pacqiuao era. But in comparison to fighting Murray, Centeno, Blandamura and whoever else the middles are fighting this isn't so bad. Beats O'Sullivan for sure.
