He's simply past it either by years of abuse on his body or some new terrible training regime. Round 1, first few punches he threw the guy was weak as sht. He used to be a very strong guy, if you're that weak relative to an opponent he's going to hurt you when he lays his hands on you.

So not cracked chin, just bad conditioning.
