How good can David Benavidez be?

The kid is only 20 and already a world champ and looks like a world beater.

Speed, power, skill and ring IQ all there for him.

I see him cracking the top 10 p4p in just a couple yrs.

Very good. He's really good right now but he will only get better until his late 20's. I hope he faces plant next to face someone undefeated and so we can see what he looks like against a mover

He will be P4P guaranteed! If youre facing tough MF'ers like Gavril at only 20 yrs old and completely outclassing them you're going places

EXactly Gavril has to be one of the toughest guys in the division and David just dominated him with ease.

Zurdo is good but David is the man at 168 I don’t see anyone beating him anytime soon.

I think he will become undisputed at 168 and his fame and glory will be limited due to the lack of oppositions at 168

Like I said, his ratio speed/power/reach/volume punching is one of the scariest thing I ever saw at 168.

Dude will be probably world champ too at 175.

Kid won't even hit his prime for another 5-6 years, sky's the limit.

I see him as doing something as great, but would probably have some problems against counter punchers like Gvozdyk, Kovalev.

He can be great for sure. I think he should have two more fights this year against decent level guys. Next year, thought, he should go for some top guys. He's got a belt and has proven himself worthy but at only 20, there is no rush. He can take his time and have that one tough fight now and then for the next few years while building up the resume and highlight reel. Youth is a powerful tool.
