I think Caleb makes a ton of sense if they can swipe that fight away from DeGale somehow. But sounds like there is a rematch close so thats doubtful. Idk if he wants none of Benavidez or Ramirez. A rematch with Groves, assuming he wins this tournament now as I suspect he will if his shoulder doesn't get him out of it, would probably be the best payday out there for him at 168 cuz the fans seemed to enjoy this fight.

Personally I think going down to 160 is the move. And figuring out some legit full time trainer situation & distance his dad from his career can only help him. If I was him I'd start sh^t with BJS again cuz BJS could be a major playing at 160 if he can upset GGG or Canelo this year. That could be a huge rematch to make in 2019 for all parties if things go down the right way.

In between now & then I think just chill for a couple months & fight some top 25 guy to get back on the W road is the most likely road unless he does need to fill in for Groves in the finals.

That would be a fun one. Don't hate that idea at all.

hes fringe level at the very best. people equate flashy combos with talent, theres too many holes in his game and his jab is ****ing pony. he can make for some decent scraps though at a certain level. i had doubts hed really improved since the saunders fight and he showed no improvements whatsoever apart from he threw shots a little bit earlier.

I pray he goes back to 160, but Groves kinda showed us signs that Eubank perhaps is still the same old guy BJS beat back then in 14.

Sounds like a good game plan. I think, even though he lacked discipline in himself tonight, he can beat Truax. Needs a new effin corner/trainer!!

                      LOL idk man.

I think thats a 50/50ish fight. BJS made Lemeiux look ****** & Eubank Jr was neck & neck with BJS so if forced to make a call I'd probably favor Eubank Jr., but I think their specific styles vs each other might not work out the same as their fights vs BJS did for the boxing math comparison & would = a competitive up for grabs fight.

That said I do think these guys who say Eubank Jr never has a game plan is gonna always make his fights vs step up guys problematic are & have been onto something.

This was Eubank Jr's 2nd biggest fight & that showed in that he didn't have much of a plan B, C or D. Vs Abraham he could go out there & freestyle it & win cuz Abraham was a really good fighter at one point, but he's old now.

Lemeiux would be at or near his prime & arguable would be the 3rd best opponent Eubank Jr would be in the ring with. I don't think Lemeiux is at a BJS or Groves level, but he's not at Abraham's level either.

So which level does that fight land at more for Eubank Jr? I'm not real sure.

TLDR its an interesting close fight I feel like & I like it.

                      Who you picking?
