I agree with all of this. And my thing is, that's exactly the same opinion I had about Manny that night. Especially the bold part.

But the other point: Groves clinched A LOT. I thought Clinchko was in his corner for a minute. He did what, if it were anyone not of that shade, would have been called "running" most all night long, yet he's praised.

I saw a boxing masterclass today - and this is from a guy who was 100% that Eubank would get the knockout. Instead I saw the same type masterclass Floyd put on against Manny. Same as what Saunders did against Lemieux.

Yet I struggle to understand why people to this day will give credit to Saunders and Groves yet say Floyd ran and hugged all night - despite all three doing the same strategy to win against limited, one-dimensional opponents.

He lost because he doesn't understand boxing as a science, he thinks its all about hitting pads and instagram.
