Who ever thought eubank would win was blinded by the hype, they posted sh** of him throwing 10 punches per second then his rubbish win against some unknown robotic Turk..that kid was and will stay a sh** fighter.

There is nothing "Next Gen" about him. The only thing he has going for him is speed and somewhat athleticism.
Poor ring IQ. Poor technique, poor balance, poor footwork and just mediocre boxing overall. He needs to fire his corner (read: father) too.Comment

I agree with everyone saying he need a to admit his flaws, get a new trainer and work in basic footwork and fundamentals because he's an amazing athlete and has the things you can't teach.
But how do you get the basic fundamentals and good footwork when you're 28 and has been making these mistakes his entire career? He should of been learning these as soon as he walked into a boxing gym because they take years of practice and drills before it comes natural.
All these guys with good amateur pedigree were practicing fundamentals and footwork at least twice a week during their childhood/amateur days, now it's natural and they don't need to work on it as much.
At the level Eubanks at, at the age he is I just can't see him turning that part of his style around, most coaches would say it's too little too late now.Comment

I gave Eubank 3 or maybe 4 rounds.
He looked clumsy, clueless and was clearly rocked a number of times.
No jab, no footwork, spent most of the fight following Groves like a puppy around the ring.
You need ringcraft and more than basic boxing knowledge to win a World title.
Eubank saying he doesn't need a trainer is just pathetic, he is an entitled child who has had smoke blown up his a$$ by his lunatic father.
Anyone who thinks Eubank actually won that fight needs to be confined to an asylum.Comment

Also, in my defense for giving Eubanks the fight (by one round, gave a few tie rounds) I awarded him the closer rounds just because I found Groves to be clinching, head locking and rabbit punching. I'll rewatch the fight and acquiesce that my scorecard was crap, but I think we can all agree the ref was even worse hahaComment
