So with Groves hurt does the finals get pushed back or does he have to fight after a shorter recovery time.

The O2 is booked for June 2 already.

From my understanding if someone is injured & out their out of the tournament & a sub will replace him. Believe they were mentioning that Zach Parker guy as being a fill in for todays fight if someone got injured late.

My assumption would be a semifinal loser or a quarter final loser would be most likely to replace Groves, but they do have subs so someone could get thrown right into the finals out of nowhere too. Not super positive about which, but I'm sure it'd be one or the other.

The WBSS isn't f#cking around. When someone does get injured & a fight doesn't happen I'm sure people will be upset, as will I, but I like the no bs approach they are taking at the end of the day. Too many mfers play up sh^t in boxing. You're in or you're out mfer!!!!!

On a side note, the SMW version of the WBSS has been very disappointing. Can anyone say they're honestly looking forward to Groves vs Smith or Braemar?

Nah not really. I was in this SMW tournament purely for Eubank Jr entertainment. Oh & that Avni cat who Eubank Jr got in the quarters. I was kinda pissed they got matched up out of the gate cuz I thought those two were the most fun to watch guys in this whole thing. But I know lotsa cats love Groves & Smith & that is probably gonna be the finals now so I'm in the minority I think with not giving THAT much of a f#ck about that fight.

The whole SMW bracket got f#cked over by the top US 168lbers + DeGale not being involved so hardly the WBSS's fault doe.

Like Groves said it's all about Levels. As for Junior being as good as his dad its never gonna happen. He should drop down to middleweight and stay there.
