  • Comments Thread For: Parker's Trainer: When Joe Puts Joshua down, He Will Finish Him!

WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker's (24-0) first fight on UK soil was this past September when he won a unanimous decision over the previously unbeaten Hughie Fury in Manchester. It may have been his first fight in the United Kingdom but it definitely wasn't his first trip.

Parker is gonna have his pants down in front of 80,000 pizz tanks

I’m hopeing for a demolition job but i think Parker will make it to the 8th ! If Parker makes it into the championship rounds he deserves big respect

Got my seats sorted . S**t to be fair but I’m sure it will be a decent night out in Cardiff

I fancy Parker’s chances more than most but can also see him being easily KTFO early on.

Flying out for this one. AJ is gonna demolish Parker. The people around him with their big mouths are writing checks Parker simply can't cash.

Does Barry really think that Parker is 'becoming a star in the UK'? The only way Parker becomes a star is if he wins, else he just fades into obscurity like every other challenger.

Can't wait to see the look of abject despondency on Joshua's face when from round 5 Parker begins to lay final siege to his crumbling world.

Parker has a chance for a late late ko. He just needs to keep away don't think If he wobbles a little bit that it's over and just run up swinging because Joshua is good at that counter uppercut. If he let Joshua blow steam he might catch a fatigued Joshua 11 or 12. That's of he can last that long. Movement is the answer.

Parker has a chance at a KO at any stage.

If AJ even looks slightly wobbled, the ref is gonna have to step in and save him from the swarm of punches he wont even see coming, but will most certainly feel.

I dont know where this AJ blasts Oilskin out early BS comes from.

He couldn't do it against Takam or Klit and Joe has a better chin then both of them.

Make no mistake. Joshua is in for the fight of his life cos Parker is coming in hot!

I think he just doing a lot of talking to hype this fight, it is in their interests to do so as they have a % of the whole pot, so anything that can get another person to buy the PPV they will say/do. At the same time he is keeping his fighter protected from too many media demands by doing the bulk of the talking. Not a bad strategy as this is Parker's first big dance at the rodeo. Of course it may amount to nought but they have to try everything they can.
