Two-division world champion Danny Garcia (33-1, 19 KOs) is only a few days away from his scheduled ring return - after spending nearly a year away from the ring. Garcia is back this coming Saturday night at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas - when he faces former world champion Brandon Rios (34-3-1, 25 KOs) in a WBC final welterweight eliminator. Showtime will televise.

Remember dumb a$$ Angel Garcia crying saying he wants Danny to retire? Over a single loss?

Then not long before that being skeptical about fighting Thurman saying “Someone’s 0 is going to go though...”. Hahha the reporters were like, that’s how it’s supposed to be!

It's true. Thurman did nothing impressive in that fight and its DSG who I thought could've fought a wayyyy better fight. I have no doubts Spence TKO/KO Thurman in the mid to late rounds.

sounds hurt he didn't get the decision. he didn't win imo. at most you can make the case for 5 rounds but anything more than that is pushing it.

Lol Garcia is the only one who got hurt in the fight as i remember. He wasnt throwing **** the 1st half of the fight, afraid of Thurman Counters. He lost clearly aswell

Garcia was getting used to getting gifted so he was surprised it didn't happen again. Can't really blame him I guess.

My problem with Danny is, it seems he lives in the past! He thinks he should get the easy route @ 147, for things he did @ 140! If he really wanted to avenge that loss to Thurman, the quickest way to a rematch would've been to beat Shawn Porter! If he wanted to show love to Philly, he could've demanded Porter come to Philly! I'm sure Porter would oblige! Garcia vs. Porter! Make it happen! Might as well, Thurman is in no rush to face Garcia, Porter, nor Spence Jr.!
