Yup! You think Canelo will be better of in the middle boxing?? Or trying to counter GGG off the ropes again?? For being stationary and against the ropes he sure did make GGG miss alot??? Usually a guy staying on the ropes is a sitting duck???

CAnelo boxed beautifully the first fight. Showed he has footwork and killed the notion that he has “cement” feet. Made the ultimate ring cutter in ggg follow him around. Canelo landed combos and body work. Had the better more crisp punches. All these are facts, what did ggg do besides go forward and throw a bunch of jabs?

Canelo easily lost the first fight, even the crooked judges couldn't find a way to steal it. Yes, in the final couple of rounds Canelo tried to make a fight of it but 10 rounds had already been played out which he ran and covered up. Judges gave him rounds for surviving and not fighting! Did GGG show his age? Yes! GGG is past his prime and if he continues to fight he will lose eventually but not because Canelo beats him but rather father time. This next fight will be just as corrupt as the first and I see Canelo winning a decision if it goes the distance whether he actually wins or not. Golovkin's only chance of a win is a knockout or an absolute one sided beatdown which I doubt will happen. Corruption in boxing is nothing new and will continue long after Golovkin and Canelo retire but it's a damn shame that fighters that put their life on the line can't get an honest scoring system. Real boxing fans will see the score for what it really is and Golovkin knows it's going to happen but he'll take the fight because of the big money. In the end it's the real boxing fans who will lose because of this baloney /
So enlighten me on what a "Real" boxing fan scorecard looks like???

Yeah you only have to win 7 rounds on 2 judges cards to get the W

In fact going just for a TKO is ******. If it happenes it happens but dont rush it and lose focus of your main goal...

Looking forward to another great fight. If you can afford to get a ticket to T Mobile (assuming it's held there), spend the cash. Awesome event last time.

how the fk did that prevent GGG from beating him cleanly?

were those guys surrounding Canelo, so he could not be hit with punches..... or were they holding Golovkin back?

                stop making excuses

that kind of thinking did not help Kovalev..... and it will not help Golovkin either

but it will be amusing if Team Bullshht fall for that line

I think that Canelo will fight similarly, but be more consistent in those middle rounds..... if so, he wins 8-4/9-3

I saw the GGG-Canelo fight for the third time today.

The 1st two times, for some reason, I thought a 6-6 draw was fair. Maybe because of several impressive uppercuts from Canelo and a big right that made GGG lose his balance a little bit, as well as a combo of about eight straight punches in one of the latter rounds. But it was all very short-lived flashiness.

In the end, by the time I saw even more carefully the whole fight for the third time, I realized that GGG carried the burden of making the fight, 90% of the whole fight and he DID CONNECT a few harsh punches. Precisely the fact that Canelo moved his head constantly saying "no" without offering any meaningful counter-attack, proves that he did feel GGG's power. But both of them have super-durable chins, they are both very strong and fit boxers.

If anyone can KO the other one, is GGG KOing Canelo, not the other way around, that is for sure. This pretend strategy of saying that Canelo will go for the KO is just a prank probably to attract more PPVs. Good one. And maybe to confuse GGG's corner a little bit, but I'm sure they won't be tricked and change their strategy.

I don't plan on watching that fight again, because I was really disappointed on Canelo's attitude, and most especially to see yet another woman judge give him a ridiculous score that he wasn't even close to deserve, like that pathetic 118-110 he got vs. GGG or the 114-114 he got vs. Floyd, both scores were incredibly out of logic IMHO.

Surviving a whole fight, connecting a bunch of very good and flashy punches that didn't seem to bother the opponent at all, is not enough for a draw.

For the good of boxing I hope GGG knocks him down at least once, and gets a tight decision like he did vs. that huge Jacobs.

I am not a GGG fan, I've actually criticized how robotic he is in the past but honestly I don't see how Canelo could have gotten a draw in their 1st fight when all he did was survive a relentless attack from the opponent for 12 whole rounds, and BOTH OF THEM missed a lot. But at least GGG went for the victory the entire fight while Canelo speculated and retreated just too much.

I hope this time Canelo engages at least 50% of the fight and makes it a fight actually.
