Comments Thread For: Ceja Says Rey Vargas Has a Weak Chin, Believes He Will Stop Him

Mexican puncher Julio "Pollito" Ceja (32-2, 28 KOs) acknowledged that a title fight with WBC world champion Rey Vargas would be complicated, but he made it clear that he has a high probability of beating. Ceja believes Vargas (31-0, 22 KOs) is not very strong and possesses a fragile jaw.

Would be a very good fight, I'd love to see it. BTW, does anybody know what happened to Hugo Ruiz? Did he retire after the loss to Hasegawa? He was a damn exciting fighter that I was hoping would stick around to breathe some life into what is probably the worst division in boxing

I like Hugo Ruiz and his two fights with Ceja. I was windering where he’s been but i hope he gets back in the mix cuz he is dangerous.

Both of them beats Rey Vargas who i dont think much of.

Hugu Ruiz beats all those chumps on the list.

            Ceja-Ruiz has unfinished business.

Rey will box and move and use all those great technical skills he has to beat , possibly stop Ceja, who has not a great defense ... my only concern would be Rey has that terrible habit of leaning in sometimes leaving his face and head exposed subject to head butts and those terrible Cuts he's had his last three or four consecutive fights.
