Agreed. I don't think he belongs in the same ring as Berchelt but he earned his shot 100%.

Lomachenko shouldn't waste a date on this guy at 135 after he was unwilling to fight Loma at 130, because at 135 Berchelt doesn't have a belt. Now, if ESPN could do a card with Loma-Linares as the main event, and Berchelt-Beltran as the co-main at 135, and if Berchelt could take the belt off of Beltran, then a Loma/Linares vs Beltran unification at 135 would be quite nice.

Or, Beltran vs Easter Jr at 135 would be fun, and Beltran should beat him, so then the same idea could apply.

In other words, Loma vs Beltran would still be nice at 135, but after denying Loma the chance at unify at 130, it is Beltran's responsibility to get a belt at 135 first so Loma still gains something from fighting him.

Loma said today at a presser in Kyiv that his plan for 2018 is : fight vs Linares on May 12th, then WBA/WBO Unification vs Beltran in August & WBA/WBO/WBC Unification vs Mikey in December. Loma also said that he will move up to 140 in 1-1,5 years.

              YES!!!! That's what I wanted.
Linares-Beltran-Mikey would be a great year for Loma.
The Mikey fight would be the most difficult to make. But hopefully they understand that this fight will help BOTH of them out and they can always rematch later on.

Hopefully Josh Taylor gets a belt at 140, that could be one of Loma's big fight next year.

Loma is trying to do it big.
First thing first lets make that Linares fight happen!

I would too, but the fighters at 135 are harder fights then

Yeah but Bob Arum wants Beltran next for Loma so it's not going to happen.

Maybe Loma can do a Mayweather and move up to beat Beltran, and come back down to 130 and beat Berchelt? If not, then I agree, the onus is on Berchelt to pursue Lomachenko, and not the other way around!
