This is completely untrue. Not sure if you're lying or if you're misinformed, but Wilder has definitely tried to unify. The year he won his title, he was very adamant that he wanted the Klitschko/Fury winner ASAP. Fury ended up winning, there was a rematch clause, numerous delays, etc, so Wilder had no chance at getting the fight.

Last year he tried desperately to unify with Parker, offering a 50/50 deal, but because the fight would be in the US, it needed Arum's approval and Arum said no.

If Deontay Wilder had the chance to fight Wladimir Klitschko in the next year, he'd sign the contract as soon as possible. If they fought next month, Wilder would like his chances. Heck, if Wilder had the chance next week to take the three belts that Klitschko currently holds and unify the heavyweight championship, Wilder would immediately start getting his hands taped.

But Wilder also doesn't think he'll have to wait for too much longer. Every time somebody mentions Klitschko's name to him, Wilder envisions the month of September 2016.

"Everybody will be clear of mandatories then. He wants it; I want it," Wilder said. "Why not? Let's do it once and for all. I'm very confident in what I'm going to do. For me as time passes by, it's more a benefit to me than it is to him. I haven't even peaked as a heavyweight yet. If I were him, I'd try to fight me right now."

"I know there's been talk of fighting Joseph Parker, who is the WBO champion. I would love that fight and I think Parker's people want that fight.

"The idea being that if Deontay fights Joseph Parker and beats Joseph Parker, he has two belts and Anthony Joshua has the other two belts and you have two guys fighting for all the marbles. I think that's what everybody is after, total unification."

You are too good for these delusional AJ fans. It is unfortunate you have to bring so much facts to the table before the even believe what you are saying. Best to ignore the heck out of them!

I hope Joshua finally bless him with that opportunity so Wilder doesn't have to worry about his mandatories any more.

Just more nonsensical garbage of what ifs !

Wilder envisioned a September 2016 fight ? Well thats nice but Wilders choice of opposition would tell another story even if Klitchko were available .

Why is Wilder calling out Klitchko after hes already scheduled a Fury fight 3 months prior to his statement then did the same with Joshua in his fight ?

Wilder ENVISIONS a 2016 September fight even though Klitchko is fighting Fury in October at this time , correct ?

Meanwhile on planet earth , Joshua and Klitchko announced in August they would be fighting in Nov. 2016 which was pushed back to April 2017 . So any call outs is ****** at that point and on top of all that Wilder had just fought the menacing Arreola a month prior who had about a month to prepare for Wilder .

If Wilder wanted Klitchko who didnt have any one lined up prior to August he was there but took a fast Arreola fight in July instead when Povetkin was cancelled in mid May .

Do you really think its hard for MOST not to see through this B.S that you post around here ?

As for the Parker link he had contractual obligations with Fury , a fight that was postponed but Fury still had first dibs at him when Wilder said he would replace Fury . Wilder didnt even pay Stiverne step aside money until September 2017 ,he could have had that fight out of the way months earlier but CHOSE not too .

Wilders own reluctance to take care of a Stiverne mandatory which he wasted 8 months dragging that out is why Parker and Wilders fight would be difficult at the time to make or a Klitchko fight for that matter in 2017...keep in mind this is when Wilder was on twitter calling everybody out more than usual ....

I really want to see Wilder vs Joshua but you're literally the SOLE reason why im on the fence to see Wilder win here !

Wilder is making a voluntary defense against King Kong, the most highly regarded contender in the world.

Wilder flew overseas to make a mandatory defense against Povetkin IN RUSSIA.

The facts don't support your premise.
