He's been training for Ortiz, so I would have to think he will be prepared.
I think he was his second southpaw opponent but the first one was ages ago..
I agree with you, he would be better prepared for Ortiz..

Just make sure Kong doesn't land one. Those stilts might betray you.

I don't think Wilder really thinks this. Ortiz has good skills and the look of durability.

            KO by Kong

I don’t like this fight for Wilder. The shots he took from Stiverne in the 1st fight weren’t flush, basically short arm punches with no full rotation of his weight behind them. Ortiz hits people flush and they go down. Interesting to see how Wilder responds if he gets caught. We saw Joshua go down and get up. But we have never seen wilder in real trouble yet & how he responds.

He would be punching down and makes his punches more powerful..
well, even though Ortiz is shorter at 6'4, he has that freak 84 inch reach, so maybe Wilder will play to his reach instead of his hight lmao

This might be the first time Wilder hasn't had a reach advantage, so could be interesting. Might see something from Wilder we've yet to see.

It's all mind games and promotion. No (heavyweight) fighter is going to say "I'm going to take him to the distance, probably be a SD, not really entertaining"

Wilder only went down in the ameteurs amd it was against a southpaw. He also seemed to take a long time to adjust to spilka. Hes looking past ortiz he said it himself and that could spell trouble.

With all of this Southpaw talk, I would LOVE IT if both fighters came out in the first round, Ortiz fighting Orthodox and Wilder fighting Southpaw just trying to mess with eachother.

I don't know what's happened or where i've been but a year or two ago Ortiz was the most feared fighter in the HW division and Wilder was the most untested Champion, Ortiz has not been beaten and Wilder has not stepped up so I can't understand why Ortiz is now old and over it and it is public opinion that Wilder will stop Ortiz early... it may happen, i'd be surprised if it did... this is a live fight, if Wilder comes through then all respect to him but Ortiz i don't believe should be written off and I like him in this fight
