McGuigan always came off as an intelligent & reasonable cat to me. He was usually the guy I would most agree with whenever he was talking boxing with Bunce & them.

I thought you were going straight gangster movie & you were saying McGuigan f#cked up his opponent (cuz I thought that was Frampton's first fight w/o McGuigan, my mistake there) to get the fight called off.

If someone makes an entrance in the right way I think you could get away with minimal trouble, like say with guns or just an impressive enough team of guys. Just speculating obviously, but I don't think some guys just chilling before a fight would be prepared if the right entrance was made or if a mfer was waiting for them at the right place or time.

Something wasn't right with Frampton - he came in over weight. I'm guessing his preparation was off. Maybe majorly off. I'd be very surprised if his opponent, did all that damage falling over in a shower. I'm speculating McGuigan hired heavies to put a beating on him and get the fight cancelled.
