Will Andrade fight Jacobs in 2018?

Jacobs and Andrade, both New Yorkers, are neck to neck in rankings in the orgs. Jacobs doesn’t talk much that’s for sure, just like he waited so long under the regular WBA to not want Golovkin until it was ordered. Are these two friends? Somewhat like Lara and Charlo’s originally?

Andrade and Jacobs have a bit of power to make HBO noise while the other networks do theirs. Who knows, maybe even Jacobs vs Andrade could have a rematch for a good conflicting style. If Triple Gee loses, shall he decide to stay at 160, K2 will have the power and money to get back at title shots. Murata, Jermall, Andrade are in line for shots, and Derevyanchenko too are all waiting. We know however the high probability for Saunders vs the winner of Triple Gee and Bummelo.

It can’t all wait for Bummelo or Triple Gee. Other excitements are a must.

Andrade is not a New Yorker. He's from Providence, Rhode Island so he's a lot closer to being a Bostonian than a New Yorker.

I'd hope this fight happens but I suspect Jacobs is looking more for the GGG-Canelo-Saunders thing to clear itself up have four belts and then have a crack at whoever is on top next year. Andrade would be too tricky a fight to risk right now. Andrade probably is going to push to be a mandatory challenger and will likely get his shot next year too after Jacobs.

Of course he will. He has a three fight contract guaranteed with HBO. I think he'll be in tough very soon.

Let's see what happens..... I like Andrade but he doesn't seem to mind inactivity.

No they won't. There will be no fights between them 2 and Charlo. Yet they'll all act like entitled b**** saying they deserve their big shot

Andrade actually beat Jacobs in the amateur’s, I’d like to see this fight, unfortunately that “cheap ****” Hearn (in the words of LoGreco) would rather Jacobs fight the Arias’ of this world and junior middleweight’s. As opposed to interesting matchups like Andrade and Derevyachenko.

I think he's been horribly managed and about as poorly promoted as a fighter could be. He's also probably let it happen to a degree too by not being aggressive enough regarding his own career. The HBO deal is a lucky break and I think despite his young age really his last chance to really be a big name. He has to grab the chance and I expect him to have a good year this year. The Devreychenko fight will really shut up a lot of people and test him as well. I really hope that's next and suspect it will be.
