He deserves 25/30% max. I can see him getting 35% if Joshua is generous. There's no comparison really between the two.
The gate at T-Mobile Arena will likely touch $20m, MGM Resorts is hosting the event, and at $65/$75 for the PPV (first undisputed heavyweight championship of the world since Lennox Lewis), the PPV should clear another $20m (after paying the distributors/Showtime). Figure another $20m on Sky Box Office (exchange rates are what they are, but that figure represents half of what was rumored that the Klitschko fight did, which should be doable), plus the increase in value of the Mexican TV and Canadian PPV, plus all of the other revenues coming in, we're talking about $80m-$100m being a decent ballpark figure for the event.

Why in the **** would Wilder only get 30%, when near all of the pie growth would come from the fight approaching blockbuster status in the US?

Joseph Parker is getting 30% for bringing nothing of value to the table beyond his WBO belt; you line up Joshua-Takam against Joshua-Parker, and I doubt that the business on Sky Box Office changes all that much.

Joshua-Parker will get the obligatory highlight mention on Sportscenter after the fight; Joshua-Wilder (or Wilder-Joshua) will get at least the full fight week coverage across ESPN, nevermind the coverage of the fight announcement, the media tour, and the "who do you think will win" coverage that'll hit every guest on First Take for at least the month before the fight.

Anthony Joshua is the bigger star, but the fight is bigger than Joshua or Wilder, and that'd be reflected in the split on the fight

Wilder is making 1 million, 2 million max per fight.

AJ is making 20, 30 million.

        Get the difference?

The fight can get made in the UK, no problem about that.

If the Parker fight goes the way that most folks earnestly expect, this will basically be the last time that anyone mentions Parker's name, before he retreats back to New Zealand for fights in his 3000-seat venue. lol.
Wilder isn't anywhere near 40-5-%, especially of a supposed $100 mill take.

On top of all that, stop making excuses by claiming what might happen. We KNOW Wilder was gonna make 10x his biggest payday simply fighting Whyte (far better than every opponent he has faced thus far). We also KNOW he would have then made A LOT more than the Whyte fight fighting AJ next.

Now Wilder is going to become even more irrelevant but AJ has so many options after Parker. Theres the Pulev match up, then Haye/Fury for HUGE money or Povetkin even.

Wilders belt is already unknown in the US, he'll become a joke without a big fight this year.

          Hypotheticals don't work.

No **** boy. It's rumoured Takam got a 1 mil flat fee, Parker is getting 35% of everything. That's a massive ****ing difference. It's more likely Joshua will make less than he did for Takam.

When you don't have arguments, you put that ****** face. It's like you're self admitting you lost.

And the article says "close to" 20 millions. They don't even know. And you said "rumoured"... you don't even have a fcking clue of what the purses were or will be.

BTW clarky, 7 million out of a total of 25, is 28% not 35%... again you show you FAIL at maths.

Not my maths. Did i write the article?

But it means Joshua would make even less than the article says. More evidence Joshua would make less.
