Comments Thread For: Takam: Joshua is Strong - But Parker is Fast, Has A lot of Speed

Carlos Takam plans to be ringside on March 31 at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, when IBF, IBO, WBA champion Anthony Joshua (20-0, 20 KOs) collide with WBO champion Joseph Parker (24-0, 18 KOs) in a heavyweight unification showdown. Takam, being a common opponent, is very familiar with both boxers.

Everybody assumes that Joshua just has to turn up and he beats Parker. I say again this reminds me of Garcia v Matthysse where Garcia was not given a chance and Garcia won that fight comfortably. I wouldn't be surprised to see the upset of the year for Parker. Now all Joshua fans relax its just my opinion it's not factual lol.

garcia was about 2/1 going into that fight not 7/1 plus which was what parker was touted as.

Takam beats Whyte every time they fight, except in the UK.

If Caleb Truax can beat James Degale then Joe Parker can beat AJ.

Takam parker was a close fight to be fair wouldn't mind seeing that again

Takam comes to throw down so does whyte

I would expect Takam to knock whyte out in a war though

That isn’t a particularly relevant comparison. Of course AJ can lose to Parker, one big bomb can change a fight, but Degale has been in some wars, has had to undergo serious rehabilitation due to injury and has plenty more miles on the clock.

Takam will give Dillian Whyte a tough 12 rounds battle for his life.
