Its a rarer thing then people think to reach the point Joshua & Canelo have reached already let alone how big they could get. Ask most mfers to guess how many 1.5+ buy PPV's they've been & I bet most go over 9 cuz mfers don't have a clue how little its happened.
I have talked to you and it seems you always are trying to argue for the sake of it.Ok, lets keep canelos, he will fight in may, what other PPV would sell, forget over 1mill buys, lets say 500 k buys.

Virtually any Canelo fight after GGG. Which could help create some more PPV draws in Charlo or Jacobs or Derevyanchenko maybe even. Although I'm less confident in foreign boxers becoming PPV draws. The key to this next PPV era is Canelo & his opposition. And I think the worldwide PPV market (& the overall revenue to regardless of PPV) will be considered more too in the near future so US numbers will have less meaning soon.

Joshua's US debut might if its the right opponent, but the Wilder fight will & likely any fight after that will. The 2nd biggest piece of this next PPV era is how long can Joshua stay on top &/or how entertaining can he become along with how much he can impact the more important world wide PPV (& other) revenue.

I think the upcoming Bud vs Horn w/Manny card (they need a good fight for Manny doe & a solid push on ESPN with shoulder programming) has potential to break 500k. Bud's chance to break out will likely live or die on how good this PPV does (& he seems to not give a f#ck about being a PPV which isn't helping). I see Bud as having Cotto-like potential to Floyd & Manny back in the day in this upcoming PPV era if he does take off. But I think he has a bigger chance to go south or never get anywhere doe admittedly.

But again you are barking up the wrong tree. Its still not about the fights. Its about the fighters. In the last decade 27 fights did 500k+ numbers & 20 of those fights involved Floyd or Manny & 25 of those fights involved someone who fought Floyd or Manny.

So PPV guys begat PPV guys for the most part or you got a rougher road so its not the fight its the fighter & that takes time. And US PPV numbers aren't gonna be in play as much as they've been in the past anyway so talking about US sh^t in a worldwide sport will lose value & importance as we move forward I feel like. In particular when talking about a guy like Joshua who can sell PPV's in the US & the UK. Joshua is likely to f#ck up those low PPV prices they got in the UK.

Not sure what I didn't hear. I am talking 2018 (Canelo vs whoever in Sept or later in the year if GGG is a rough fight, Joshua vs whoever in his US debut or vs Wilder this year & Bud vs Horn w/Manny in Apr or May or whenever that is).

But it is a long game thing which I don't think you realize. Floyd never "passing" the PPV torch or one could argue no one grabbing the PPV torch makes things harder on this era & thats the sh^t I was speaking on. BIG mainstream fights don't happen THAT much. 9 in 40 years of PPV.
