for people saying floyd is a better boxer...based on what? beating weaker competition for longer? that seems to be your argument cause when you look at their best wins....its not close. could floyd ever dominate toney or hopkins? he never even fought guys with those styles so how do we know? does he get fantasy points for not doing it? he should have lost to castillo when he was in his prime. you think a slow predictable fighter like that gets close to beating prime jones? i think you are placing entirely too much emphasis on longevity but where is the quality? boxing is not about averages. basically what you are saying is that vince carter is better than jordan cause vince played longer. stop

RJJ would KO Floyd after toying with him for a bit like a cat plays with a mouse. In terms of career/legacy, Floyd probably gets the edge because he wisely chose not to fight while completely shot as a fighter.

Floyd fought more quality opponents by miles & Roy would have to get off the roids to meet Floyd at 154 & Floyd would light him up like a x-mas tree. T.B.E.

Floyd is/was more skilled than Roy, Roy was fast & could punch. Floyd did more with less physical attributes....Floyd is T.B.E. it aint close.

Roy Jones Jr. easily. Middleweight through Heavyweight. Thats more of an accomplishment than Manny or Floyd.

Historically, due to RJJ's 28 year career being 50% as a journeyman (14 years past prime), i'd rather have Floyd's career. 100% of Floyd's career, he was an elite fighter, fighting at the top level. The worst part of Floyd's career was his very last fight against an MMA fighter, otherwise he had a flawless career. Floyd was the better fighter in history. Roy should've retired at 35 years old after edging Tarver.
