Comments Thread For: Rios Trashes Victor Ortiz: F*** That Fool; He Didn't Want To Fight

All it took Wednesday was for Brandon Rios to simply suspect a question regarding Victor Ortiz was about to be asked. That prompted an aggravated Rios to unload on Ortiz, his longtime rival from Kansas, during an interview with BoxingScene.com following his open workout in Lynwood, California. Rios referred to Ortiz as "a ******ed motherf***er" and reiterated that it was Ortiz, not him, that didn't want their long-discussed grudge match to happen recently.

Probably the splits weren’t right. Ortiz has been a PBC fighter for a while. Or rather, Ortiz thought he should be given significantly more. We’ll see the splits for Rios and Garcia to know

if he has a heart transplant or grow a new pair of balls then maybe!

ortiz will outbox rios no doubt, but how long will that last? ortiz is a known quitter and this is not me hating on him. rios is gonna land some point in that fight, and ortiz is gonna fold.

          Make this fight please!
And after that, make Ortiz vs Canelo, another fight that should have happened years ago (before Josesito Lopez broke Ortiz's jaw)

How I'd love Larry Merchant to interview Rios after the fight and being told "I'm through, go talk to Victor Ortiz, you don't know **** about boxing, you ain't ****!"

Only, Merchant could not understand a word of what Rios would say, thus ending like this:

            "If you weren't a ******, I'd kick your a*s!"

                lol sure, why not

Too bad Ortiz went downhill the way he did... he could have been a wrecking force. I may be alone on this one, but I hope he does get his heart back into boxing.

Rios has always been an over-rated boxer. He's easily hit and he has cement for feet. As bad as Ortiz has fallen, he would still outbox and even stop Rios somewhere around 7 or 8. Rios just needs to go away. I don't know why boxers have to speak so ******ly in front of the cameras. SMH

Should have made that fight for the 17th instead of Garcia
