Its been confirmed by Roach that Pac vs Loma will happen in November at 140 lbs. First, Pac will fight a tune up fight n April, probably on Bud's undercard.

This is reminiscent of De la Hoya vs Pacquiao, when Oscar couldn't justify luring Manny up 3 divisions so agreed to meet him 2 divisions up. Recall Oscar was aiming to face the winner of Cotto Margarito but changed his mind when Margarito won, opting for the midget instead unaware of the fact that Pacquiao would eventually break Margarito's face.
If it happens I think it is because Manny is similarly wary of a tough fight involving the winner of Horn Crawford and opting for the smaller opponent instead. I don't like it but I suppose if anyone has earned it, it is Pacquiao who has made a career of fighter larger men.
