lemmy is a pure one dimensional brawler. i wouldnt see him beating any champ or top 5 guy. bjs did what most boxers do to guys like that, outbox them.

For anyone to beat Canelo or GGG you need to get their respect in the ring and Saunders doesn't have the power they will break him down and stop him in the 2nd half of the fight.

I would have said that before the Lemieux fight, but it was apparent from the first round in that fight that BJS isn't a pillow fist anymore. Lemieux is a very limited fighter, but it was a great showcase for BJS's skills and as I mentioned he had more pop in his punches - enough to make Lemieux notice.

Plus he almost finished Lemieux in the 7th round I believe (can't remember) when he had him up against the ropes and was planting his feet - though apparently Ingle told him to back off and be cautious

EVEN if canelo beat ggg and bjs landed the canelo fight, he wouldn’t get to fight for the wbc because canelo had stated that he isn’t fighting for the wbc strap. Seems to me that bjs expects ggg to win and then hopes to land the ggg fight in the fall

Agreed, and I can't see GGG taking a fight with Saunders if he beats Canelo. That would make for an almost certainly lame PPV in which GGG would chase a jabbing and running Saunders, probably dropping him once or twice and winning a tepid, boring UD.

Nonsense about Canelo. Stylistically, Sauders is a nightmare for Canelo. You don't need power to beat Canelo, you need intelligent movement and ring IQ.

GGG, I agree. I think GGG's constant pressure could wear down Saunders and make him fade.

I respect all of you guys who have different opinion on Canelo v Saunders. Canelo is a class above Lemieux and he will catch Saunders with timing and I believe he has the power to stop Saunders. Saunders will try and run and try and nick the rounds but other than Lemieux, Saunders has looked very ordinary. It's just my opinion guys that's all. Anyway I don't think Saunders v Canelo happens I predict GGG to win the rematch and even if he doesn't I don't think Canelo sees Saunders as a big opponent unless he wants to unify the whole division but we wait and see.
