I've never hated him but it's easy to tease him for his goofy looping punches. I think most people criticizing deontay are doing it in a playful way because he hasn't given us a lot to love or hate.

I hope he knocks out Joshua though. Joshua is a repulsive guy. His leaked messages to Eddie Chambers & deleted Tweets. His over-the-top steroid abuse. Getting credit for "dethroning" a Klitschko who Fury had already retired, and somehow having a way tougher time of it.

this is a sad hw era were in. dw has 2x as many fights, he should have 2x as many names. he has to unify and maintain to get the credit hes looking for. same with aj.

only in dominating this piss poor hw div can anyone get credit.

              I agree.

The way to truly gauge a HW champion in this weak HW era (its getting better than it was) is to unify and then pull a wlad and dominant for years to come.

However back to the thread topic people are hating on wilder for no reason lol hes done everything hes supposed to have done, now phase 2 is under way (same with AJ) its unifying and then phase 3 can happen which is DOMINATE. Thats all they can do.

fight fans are picky with who they root for. sol still has fans. khan has fans. flubby fury has fans. same thing goes for who a fight fan hates. who is hated more than may and yet no one has dominated the sport as long as he did.

even when a guy proves himself, there will be hate.

im looking forward to see which guy comes out on top and can run things.

Personally, I don't hate him and don't see why he's hated, even when his opponents are exposed as drug cheats he still gets shat upon and accused of ducking. The guy isn't arrogant as most claim or disrespectful, he just talks a good fight and trash talking these days gets a lot of manginas triggered. Also, he's not as popular as previous HWs because the entire division sank into obscurity during the Klitchsko years; in fact, him and AJ are helping revive the division.

His career is 98% padded. Plus, he couldn't even knock Z-Money out cold.
