Serious albeit trivial question... has it ruined Rocky VI for you now?

I know, I know, it's trivial. But I can't get it out of my head.

Imagine midway through the film when Rocky has been beaten by Mason Dixon before being due to rematch him (NOTE: I don't actually know the plot of Rocky VI, I'm just guessing).

He goes "Adriaaaaaaaaaaan! I just got ****ed up by a guy with a really big pink lip who couldn't even beat a middleweight."


Now, I KNOW that Rocky is fiction and all, but it's tarnished it for me. Fair enough, if Tarver got beat AFTER the film was released or something. But I think now it shows that Tarver's career seems to be a confidence trick. (His best win being defeats of a completely shot Roy Jones... and a win over Glen Johnson, who's best win was a defeat of a completely shot...)

No, doesn't bother me at all. Just think, if you don't like Tarver, it will make it that much more rewarding when Rocky gives the inevitable beatdown.

Well James Toney took the role originally, but they had to kick him off the set because he ate everything in sight and wouldnt shoot the movie.

I had no intrest in seeing the fight before Tarver got schooled by B-Hop. Rocky has worn thin on me.
