How many of you remember Roy played in a USBA basketball game before a fight. Then partied with Redman and Method Man for his ring intro. And KTFO the dude with both hands behind his back. Sll in the same day. Wasn't a big fan but he could fight.

He was simply one of the best if not the best I ever saw. I smh way too often reading comments on here but don't any of you you dare talk down this man and what he did in boxing.

Yes, he beat "prime" Toney and Hopkins, no question whatsoever of getting into HOF.
My problem with Roy is while he did beat them, he didn't exactly push them off the cliff; he never had either of them seriously shook (the Toney KD was caused by Toney clowning off) and was content to enforce the silent game of "if you don't try to hurt me i won't either".
Since we know he used PEDS, how much of it helped him elaborate his safety-first style and protect his jaw?
One knew he was juiced since he couldn't help mouthing off and call himself "Mr Invincible".
Right into his prime people were correctly calling him out for not fighting the best available opposition.

2 of them are great fighters at or near their prime.
Roy is great and so was Floyd, anything more than paying homage for two truly ATGs is just fan BS.

I hate to say it, but the whole Balco thing left a few ??? to say the least. Even if it was Roid Jones Jr, his skills were out of this world. Probably the best I've ever seen.

Now, if you want to say that McCallum was well past the sell date when Jones fought him that's fine and fair.
