    Jose Benavidez Jr. didn't waste any time beginning his campaign to fight Terence Crawford. As soon as he won his comeback bout Saturday night in Corpus Christi, Texas, Benavidez took to social media to call out one of the best boxers in the world. Crawford, who watched from a front-row seat as Benavidez beat Matthew Strode by eighth-round technical knockout, isn't impressed.

      LOL, but yea I think David is the superior Benavidez. That wasn't always seen as the case, but things have shifted a lot in the last couple years.

          I’m from the finiquera so I’ll be rooting for Benavidez if fight goes down, but Crawford is a world talent, he likely, almost guaranteed takes it.

              It doesn't matter if Crawford denies the third attempt from you sir the majority of the boxing world wouldn't care. You have to beat legit comp first.

                  Sigh. We're going to see Crawford vs Benavidez after the Horn fight. Completely pointless fight. If Arum continues to stay in-house, no one will care about Crawford.

                      The Benavidez fight will actually be interesting, much more so than anything Top Rank could offer anyhow.

                          This guy better remember what happened to Felix Diaz. He also did a lot of calling Crawford out. Bad idea.

                              Yeah its not a bad fight for Bud at all as a first title defense. I think Benevidez would beat Peterson or is at least that same level.
