I hope that you are not talking about his fight against Robeisy Ramirez because everyone (including Shakur himself) thought that Robeisy won that fight fair and square and even if you believe that Shakir should have won, he wasn't "much better" in any way.Comment

Threatening to ban the sport will do little to clean up amateur boxing, which has been so corrupt it is not funny. The Olympics really highlights the corruption to a wider audience, as I've seen blatantly biased scoring, overturned decisions and more.
If they're serious about cleaning up the sport then the law needs to get involved, people charged and jailed as well as an investigation into past practices and recommendations for new checks and balances.Comment

Have you ever tried to win a fight away from home?
You have to ko someone to the point of them being unconscious to MAYBE get a decision.
Some of the judging in the amateurs is awful, and not fair on some of the young lads who train hard to have their confidence dashed liked that fairly regularly.Comment
