Anyone Know Why the WBSS Final Will Be In Saudi Arabia?

Seems like an odd place for a boxing match, period. Anyone know why they're having it there?

So the Saudi's can entice foreigners to go there so they can cancel their visas and use them as slave workers

Saudis probably offered a huge amount of that oil money to host the fight there.

They have spend a lot of money on the tournament.

They did not get a TV deal in the US, their TV deals in Germany and UK are not great.

              It's mostly PPV/Fight Package.

I think they want to get back the lost investment.

Odd place to have it, but I guess money talks. God knows what the crowd will be like for the final, I can't imagine that many will want to travel to see it in Jeddah.

Arabs love fights and sports in general. Just look at how fanatic they are about their football teams despite not even being ranked in the top 50.
