It was a sloppy fight with one dominant fighter despite the excessive holding and pushing Okolie ensured he won the rounds by imposing his physical strength.
I personally didn't want them to fight each other at this stage but i think they both made 100K purses so money does talk in the end, those small hall and undercard slots would only pay 1 - 10 K per fight so it was a risk worth taking for both fighters.
Okolie still has work to do but his long rangy arms and power are a problem for anyone on the domestic scene in the UK.
An inside fighter would give him fits though i do believe.

Truly dreadful main event. Chamberlain just gets manhandled for 10 rounds with barely a punch thrown. Okolie very ugly but effective. Don’t bother with it; even the knockdowns are unexciting.

The Belotti fight isn’t up to much (picked his punches well enough and the finish is a great shot) so fast forward to Cheeseman-Jones, which is an entertaining scrap, and then enjoy four minutes of Buatsi looking like a future undisputed world champ. That kid is frighteningly good already.

After watching this fight he reallyneeds to look of he is able to drop down a division? Not sure how far, weight wise, he is from that?
It was just out strengthened throughout , simple punches were knocking him out but he had two “knock downs” from just being offbalanced.

That British beef had mad cow disease, shocking fight. All that talk of Chamberlain having the better boxing skills if it went rounds, he couldn't even string a jab together!
Thank the boxing gods for the WBSS last night.
