ya never know, he could pull it out...he's been unbeaten for so long he might think he's incapable of losing

He might think it but actually doing it are two different things. He has no chance at all in the octagon the same goes vice-versa.

They haven't had an event since June 2015. I'm guessing they're done for.
You're thinking of something different...at no point did those guys fight bare knuckle.

In his 40s, doesn't need money yet and I just don't see a man who likes to lose. Which in MMA he surely will. He earned tons of respect and is the best boxer of this era. Bottom line is he don't need it.

            Agree with the article

There is no way Mayweather fights in the UFC. I'm predicting Dana White goes into boxing with Mayweather as the face / partner on the boxing side

How about Zuffa Boxing match Floyd vs Conor Aldo vs Nate. Put Cyborg there too and it would be good marketing start for organization

                Why the heck wouldn't Floyd??

News flash: No one expects any boxer to jump to mma and win. Not even Mayweather. It would do absolutely nothing to his boxing legacy. Nothing. Guess what Andreas? An MMA loss does not put any blemish on his boxing record.

And even if it did, why the heck would that matter now? So, he keeps his unbeaten record because that's what makes him so much money. But if he is never boxing again, then exactly how does that make him any more money? This says Floyd wants/needs his perfect record because that is what sells his fights. Maybe this Andreas was not aware that Floyd has been retired for a couple of years. He didn't even train for the McGregor fight. He is not coming back to box ever again. The only way it makes sense to keep a perfect record to sell boxing matches is if Floyd ever actually boxes again. Which is just not happening. I'm not sure if Andrea thinks Floyd is coming out of retirement or if he just never realized keeping a perfect record to sell fights does not matter if you never fight again. Either way, he has yet again proven himself to be an imbecile incapable of logic and reasoning.

I believe he is going into UFC and just like the boxing bout it will be pretty much fixed. This time Floyd will be carried to round 3 by Conor and lose by submission, levelling the playing field to one a piece and no harm done to Mayweathers boxing legacy cos he didn’t lose standing up and gives a good account of himself in MMA. Another $100m in the bank for both fighters.

It’s all total nonsense, it might as well be WWE.

Floyd is just keeping himself in the news and keeping himself relevant. Anyone who takes this seriously is a clown.

Of course it could happen . People said the McGregor fight was a fantasy but it happened. Floyd will do anything for attention and it will bring the ufc attention. A rigged fight against a bum will bring everyone in a lot of money, him beating some.novice doesn't really reflect that badly on mma
