I don’t blame Pac for turning down $40 million dollars because he knows he could make way more than that if he fights Mayweather. Other than Mayweather, Marquez was his next biggest rival, it’s true he got knocked out but he came back and became a champion again. He wanted to fight Marquez for the 5th time but Marquez wouldn’t do it no matter how much money they offer him.

I wouldn't go that far. I get that fighters should fight the best or take up a different sport. On the other hand, Matthysse has been talking retirement and obviously slowing down. He looked a bit less fit in the Kiram fight. Doesn't want to get smashed or hurt at this point and I think Thurman and Spence would both put a horrible, prolonged beating on Matthysse.

Losses only count if a fighter is afraid to lose, he said before that you should quit fighting if you are afraid to lose and he is still fighting. He already cemented his legacy as an all time great, he has nothing to prove at this time anymore but who are we to say he should quit?
