ward isnt a floyd or a roy..doesnt have a chavez or toney type of performance...boxing didnt shift to his klitschko like style
Ward was never a crowd-pleaser, nor was he a ****-talker, so he didn't sell in America! I think Spence Jr. and Crawford will have the same problem, even though I find both very pleasing! Anyway, AJ sells in the UK, regardless of opponent, so Ward would get paid handsomely if he goes to the UK, and maybe America finally embraces him, if he beats Joshua!

Ward momentum is practically off. I mean, Andre realised how fans easely forgot him, like he was some type of bad dream. Mohammed Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard, Hearn, Hagler, Chavez, Mayweather, etc... they all stood relevant in boxing fans minds. But Ward's struggling more than Tommy Morisson to keep his legacy alive. He goes to shows, stores apparitions, football matchs; he put up his own clothing line, invest time in motivational speeches. Despite his effort, it's still not enough. His wife Tiffiney only sip few months of that good life, just to have it interrupted by Ward sudden retirement. Now, she became so impossible to live with, he made her a baby to calm her down: which is giving him time to think.
Ward's playing with fans, by acting natural, but still talking in circle for about 30min. No body knows what he says, no body know if he'll stay retire or if he'll come back. He gives the impression he's moving up in weight, but we still don't know in what weight class he'll come back to, if he comes back. He says he's suddenly in good shape, can be ready to step in a ring after an 8 weeks training camp, but boxing doesn't define him.
Look, the guy wants some attention, he wants people to call him "Champ" for ever. Everybody wanted to be like Mike, but no one wants to be like Dre. Look, how he dressed himself for a single interview, trying to promote his non-profitable brand.
Money's shrinking fast, and if Andre keeps failing his unrealistic projects, he'll come back to boxing. But only at 168Lbs, calling out smaller guys like GGG.
Andre Ward avoided the only fight he could've made to become Undisputed by retiring. He made fans focus on lies, like moving up to heavyweight just to easily get a fan-pass to duck Stevenson. When he found out he couldn't milk his titles, also has no HBO contract as a roadblock to negociations. Ward understood he has no control over destiny, and has to face Stevenson in the biggest matchup of his career.
But the so called S.O.G. didn't trust fate, he cheated destiny by using a lie for retiring just one fight away to become Undisputed or nothing.
The WBC president has an inside view on negociations, he has an history with Stevenson and has one with Ward too. WBC prez knows Ward is a liar, he knows Ward duck Stevenson, like Kovalev and Hopkins did.
Ward will never fight over 175Lbs, and the current LHW division line-up is too strong for him. If he comes back, it will be at 168Lbs.

            This liar...

spence jr will not have the issues of a ward...the issues that spence may his is much greater than ward's bc he's actually likely greater than ward.

spence will find it hard to get opponents bc he will beat you up badly and hurt you plenty...ward gets opponents bc they dont fear being outpointed...look across boxing the big punchers than can box good as well dont seem to get fights..it is no coincidence
