I think he would beat the current Haye but be KOed by the prime Haye.

Haye is a beaten up, withered old crust of himself, usyk cleanly out-boxes him and maybe stops him late. Prime Haye vs Usyk...oh boy, that fight would be fire, I lean towards a Hayemaker putting Usyk to sleep

David Haye I'd favour over Usyk, David Gaye (current Gayemaker) would get beat

Impossible to make a pick on prime Haye vs current Usyk.

Usyk has great fundamentals and fights with insane pressure for 12 rounds. I could see Usyk's pressure bothering Haye and not allowing him to get set, just as Wlad's pressure did in their fight, and Usyk outworking him over 12. But I can also see Haye being able to use Usyk's relentless pressure to run him into a big right-hand KO.

Present day? I'd say that is wholly dependent on the Haye-Bellew rematch. If injury-free Haye blasts Bellew out this time, it would be hard to pick Usyk.

Never thought about it, but that would be a great fight. I think I would go with haye, usyk is probably technically better but Prime haye had incredible speed, power, and athleticism

usyk in both. who did haye actually beat at cruiserweight? Macarenelli and jon marc mormeck (who he struggled against). Usyks surpassed his cruiserweight achievements already, the current line up is much better.

Haye in his prime would get the edge, but now...not even close. And that's not being rude or disrespectful to Haye, he's just so injury-prone now that it's debtable whether he beats Bellew in a rematch.

People are not giving prime cw Haye enough credit...must be because they hate him. But he was something else, I got him beating Usyk.

In his prime, Haye would be competitive, or even win a decision. Right now, Usyk would make him run out of gas in a few rounds.

                    Haye should look into retiring.
