I'm sure ShoSports would pick it up since they have this already of Joshua.

Don't think US TV will be an obstacle like it was for the Lewis vs. Tyson fight.
Joshua/Klit is a non-American fight, Wilder is American. So that is quite significant.

HBO doubled up on what Showtime was paying for Joshua's last fight so who knows what goes down this time.

I feel like its just a matter of time before Joshua gets picked up by HBO. I think the aggressive bidding & Hearn locked in with HBO for the time being make it extremely likely it'll happen. And it might be this time.

HBO loved to promote the Klitschkos because they were heavyweights presumably so that would be my bet. Edit - Dan Rafael article from 1-8 says,

"Higgins said that one element that has not yet been settled -- though it isn't an issue between him and Hearn -- is the American television rights.

Showtime, which has been televising Joshua fights, has a matching right for one more of his bouts under its expiring contract. HBO has had major interest in Joshua, has an exclusive contract with Hearn fighter Daniel Jacobs and televised Parker's title-winning fight against Andy Ruiz in December 2016. Top Rank's Bob Arum, who co-promotes Parker, would like to bring the fight to ESPN as part of his long-term deal with the network.

"The discussions for the American television broadcaster are going on right now, but the fight will have a major television outlet in the United States," Higgins said."

True, but I doubt that Showtime is paying the same for a Wilder fight, than HBO did back in the days for Wladimir Klitschko's fights.

ESPN would be a interesting choice to help grow the Joshua name, but my assumption would be the Showtime matching rights deal is gonna make this a premium cable fight only & its only a matter of if its HBO or Showtime.

Surprise Eddie Hearn is not trying to do something NEW with AJ instead of continuing the same damn format.

The future is in STREAMING it is not with Showtime, HBO or even Network TV but Streaming, preferable on youtube. Dorticos vs Gassive was great on youtube, the Chat was Cool as well beside a few trolls who post racist stuff for attention.

Youtubers did a boxing event and live streamed it for free yesterday and it reached 1 Million+ Live Views and last time I checked the Total Views for that Videos was something crazy like 15 Million views in less than 24 Hours

Boxing is missing out on young audience because a young Audience is not watching TV as much anymore they're literally on Social Media and Youtube ALL DAY!

No one in boxing is taking advantage of that yet really. I see TR is making moves with it & others are too, but no one is big on it cuz the big money isn't really there just yet. So til the money follows along idk that you can fault Hearn or anyone else with not latching their wagon to that quite yet.

It is coming doe. You are obviously correct there.

Yea but streaming money is the tv money of the future. And the streaming platforms are getting into more sports. It'll reach boxing sooner or later, but it's not quite there yet so it's silly for Matchroom or GBP to build some 3rd rate streaming platform when the thing everyone is waiting for is Amazon or Hulu or someone else with a big wallet to come along.
