Gatti has a chance but Paulie is totally the wrong match up for Gatti. Gatti needs to go against Pressure guys or boxer punchers. Slick boxers will make Gatti look bad even if Gatti wins. Gatti's handlers are all about showcasing what Gatti does best and that is slug it out and thats the type of people they will put him against.

Yeah you're right. If Paulie boxed Gatti, he could probably win UD easily. If Gatti got him into a fight, he would destroy Paulie.

1st off Gatti & Paulie are great friends so they wouldnt fight but if they did then Paulie would kill him. Im not sure if he would now after the Cotto fight because Paulie could go one of 2 ways. He couldve gained alot of experince and be even better or that beating early in his career could make him suck for now on.

However, lets just say he is the same guy. If he is then he would school Gatti. Gatti cant beat any boxers. I think alot of you are overrating this Cotto fight too much as far as what Paulie has to do. He doesnt need to move down in weight and he doesnt need to punch harder. He lost to a monster. He will never fight a guy like Cotto again, no matter who he faces. No one will outweigh him by that much and if they do then they wont have Cotto's crazy power, and if they do then they want have Cotto's boxing ability.

Hatton is great but he doesnt have Cotto's power or overall boxing ability, Chico is big but he doesnt have Cotto type strength, Castillo is big but he wont be as dominant at 140 and he wont have Cotto's one punch KO power.

You guys are saying that Paulie should move down & would lose to Gatti when Paulie just went 12 rounds with a monster and still did a great job? Who else can say that? Chop Chop has mad skills and he couldnt even do that.

Name one guy at 140 that can do to Paulie what Cotto did? He wont ever have to worry about a guy who does everything well like Cotto and has that crazy size.

Even at 147 I see Paulie killing Gatti. Gatti will not be able to box with Paulie and Gatti can not make a fight a slugfest with a boxer. People act like Gatti has Cotto skills. Sure Gatti is a big puncher and has Cotto weight but he doesnt force his weight on his opponent like Cotto does and he is no way near the complete boxer that Cotto is. If Paulie was fighting Gatti last week then he leaves with a very comfortable win, without a doubt
