it's simple really. mma though not big in the general public, has a pretty big internet following. personally, i don't think either of those guys even deserve to be on that list with those other sports legends, but the fact is, sports fans in general can care less about this poll, while to the mma fans it's another gateway for exposure. hagler is light years more of a badass liddell will ever be, but that aint stoppin the 15 year old fanboys who probably don't even know 2/3 of the other REAL legends on that poll.
just hit up any mma messageboard and look at the response this little poll is getting, it's ridiculous. lmao, the fact that those two guys (liddell and crocop) are even mentioned in the poll is enough to get front page coverage on some of those sites. if you ask me, i think we should get in there and tear some **** up. vote not just to show your support, but vote because it's ****in common sense that liddell or crocop can't hold marvin's jockstrap. but, eh, whatever.Last edited by Mistadobalina; 06-12-2006, 11:30 PM.Comment
