He never lost at Cruiserweight. His losses were at 175. Perhaps that's what this poster meant.

Having said that. He gets smoked by Usyk. Bellew just isn't that good but he's got a big mouth and it would be a big event in the U.K so I hope Usyk gets that chance.

Tbf if the Haye rematch doesn’t happen then it’s a logical last cash out fight for Bellew as other than fighting Haye he has no business at heavyweight.

He would bring some antics and coverage to the cruiserweight division for sure though...so I’d Defo tune in if it happens.

He wouldn't cash out against Usyk, nobody knows who he is, and doesn't have a fanbase, hence him fighting everyone in their backyard.

If Bellew can't fight Haye he may as well fight someone like Fury or Joshua, take his beating and ride off into the sunset.

After watching Usyk vs Breidis, I can see Bellew giving Usyk a lot of problems with his straight punching. Usyk has a lot of talent and has great conditioning but he still looks vulnerable to me. At times he's not even looking when he's throwing and he's certainly not impossible to hit.
If Balloon did go back down to cruiser and take on these guys, I would dig the guy a whole lot more. Definitely has a reasonable chance against Usyk, though.

But Briedis would smash Bellew too.
