Comments Thread For: Wilder: Joshua is Scared To Fight Me, I'm His Biggest Threat!

Undefeated WBC World Heavyweight Champion Deontay Wilder is convinced that Anthony Joshua is "terrified" of fighting him. Wilder faces dangerous Cuban Luis Ortiz in March, but he's already looking ahead to a potential unification with Joshua, who meets Joseph Parker a few weeks later.

He'll make millions out of this fight you muppet. Why would he be scared? Even if AJ loses, there will be a rematch.

Joshua wasn't scared when he fought Klitscko and u think he is scared of fighting u (Wilder). In ur dreams. At least what u have showcased is letting people know u have a wild mouth.

Eddie may be scared, Joshua may be extremely scared but we would never know cuz Wilder is demanding 50/50 like the mega superstar he is.

Didn't he want 50/50? He was going to receive the highest purse in his career regardless.

He publicly claimed he wanted 50/50, just as Parker publicly claimed he wanted 50/50.

Deals are not made in public. They're made in private.

AJ vs. Wilder not happening next has nothing to do with the financial split. It has everything to do with Parker being an easier fight. It's common sense. You save the tougher fight for later.

AJ vs. Wilder will likely happen late this year, unless HBO throws a bunch of money at Hearn to bring all of his fighters exclusively to HBO.

But the split won't be what makes or breaks this fight. AJ's team will say 70/30 in the press, Wilder will say 50/50 in the press, and the fight will get made at 60/40. That's how this works.
