    IBF super flyweight titlist Jerwin Ancajas (28-1-1, 19 KOs) is set to defend his belt this weekend at the Bank of America Center in Corpus Christi on ESPN. It's the first fight of a new multi-fight deal the southpaw from the Philippines signed with Top Rank.

          You critics don't know crap.
          His team said he just needs a bit more development and seasoning.

          That's fine ..as he is much younger than all the guys on Superfly.

          They are focused on getting some exposure while developing. ESPN fits their goals; 1st fight in the US.

          He has his upcoming fight ..then his mandatory... after that, they'll step up. Probably looking at 2019.

          That said; he is a title holder...he'll need to face the best in the division eventually. He said he's a notch below them in exposure..knows where he is at and wants to fight them eventually.

            that bit at the end about the TV deal with ESPN in the Philippines is interesting, that may have actually had a lot to do with it
