That don't mean ****. The other fighter should put on a couple of pounds also. He could do the same.

Cotto would fight Hatton. But Hatton want's other fights. Cotto Vs Castillo i don't know if it's going to happen now. He will probaly be suspended and ****.

Tell that to team Hatton. I don't think they want to put him up against Cotto at 147.
Man cotto would woop Hatton. The hatton i saw against collazo was C level fighter. No head movement, walked right into combos, and had NO power at 147. Cotto would eat him up. I gotta see him one more time at 147 against a decent opponent.

its not that fair but both sides know what they are getting them selfs into. paulie knew he was going in there with a bigger better puncher so he put his carrere at risk. we should not take anything from cotto because of it
No I don't take anything away from Cotto, Paulie shouldn't have taken the fight. He was the smaller guy and clearly outgunned, infact I really don't know what the **** he was thinking and I hope whatever he got payed will take care of his hospital expenses.

I wasn't calling you a Cotto **** rider directly, although I can see how it came across that way. I just meant that there are a lot of Cotto fans out there who are **** riders who offer not much by way of insight. Upon reading your posts I can tell you're not one of those people.

I believe Cotto would fight Hatton and Hatton would fight Cotto as well. I think the problem is Hatton's management is so pre-occupied with Floyd Mayweather that they really don't care. Personally I don't believe Hatton is ready for a fight against Mayweather and neither is Cotto. I think they should warm up, preferably on each other.

But like so many other times in boxing, money dictates the outcome.

            we all good. lol
i do think he needs to move up in weight, just so that he doesnt wear himself out at an early age from making these light weights that he cant make without working him self to death.

I just wanted to make sure I didn't come across like an uninformed ****** newbie *****, which is probably what it looked like, lol.

I agree that making those weights for a prolonged period of time will take their toll eventually. Sometimes sooner rather than later so I think this is a great move for Cotto and even better news for fight fans because now we get to see Cotto and don't have to worry about the after-effects of making weight.

Collazo and Cotto are two very different fighters. Cotto would be right there to hit, just like Hatton would, completely different fight. Hatton would appear to have much more power than he did vs. Collazo because he'd be able to hit Cotto almost at will. I think Hatton wins because he loves to hook and Cotto can't take that punch from a real puncher (yes, Hatton hits harder and faster than Torres, and can do it for 12 rounds instead of gassing after 5).

plz the reason Cotto wants to move up in weight is cuz he know Castillo is moving up to 140lbs. That foo can still make the 140lbs but he know he 's gona have to fight Castillo so he would rather move up to 147lbs.
