Just to clarify, a "person" who spews hatred on Mexican people is not a racist, it is a xenophobe. That so-called person hates a country and its people, not a race, because Mexicans are of several different races. The stereotype in the US, spread by haters who are incredibly ignorant, is that all Mexicans are "brown mixed-race people," when in fact that is just the bigger percentage, about 65% but there's around 15% of white Caucasians, no race mixture, and about the same percentage of purely Amerindian-race people (Asian race), and another very small percentage of black or predominantly black people.

So anyone who hates on Mexicans is not really hating on a race (mixed-race/mestizo people), they are hating on a country, therefore they are xenophobes. Normally xenophobes are racists too, and many other wrong things because they are for the most part poorly-educated loser-prejudiced people with tons of non-tolerance issues because of their incredibly huge ignorance.
