  • Comments Thread For: Tony Bellew: I Doubt Parker Will Last Eight Rounds With Joshua

Former WBC cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew does not expect Joseph Parker (24-0, 18 KOs) to make it to the eight round with Anthony Joshua (20-0, 20 KOs) in a heavyweight unification. Joshua and Parker will stake their undefeated records and battle for the WBO, IBO, WBA, IBF titles.

Parker is going to get destroyed trying to get inside. When fighting someone with a big height/reach advantage you need good head movement and fast feet. Parker doesn't really have either.

He will go distance. There must be a man on earth who can last distance.
Parker's supposed to be a handful of people who can test josh.
So he's got to last longer than takam who was prematurely stopped

Agreed Parker won’t last more than 6

If Joshua connects solid, it could end in the first round.

Bellew seems to be everywhere, though. Not bad for a nobody. Himself and Parker make a nice pair, nothingness vs nothingness.

I think once Parker tastes the power of AJ he will fold. He will be training hard but there is a big difference to fighting Hughie Fury then x amount of months later fighting AJ!

It looks like we have a wave of great and sensible comments thus far on this thread. The Aussies and Wilder fans must not have read this yet. Parker will feel AJs jab and back up and know a **** storm is coming. Parker-B fighter AJ- Future Elite. Wilder-Dog doo.
