WTF is wrong with Atlas?

...Anyone else following the story on a rival website about Teddy Atlas claiming that he was going to shoot Donny Lalonde when he dropped him as his trainer in the 80's?? He claims that if Lalonde had answered his apartment door he would have shot him and walked away. Lalonde is saying that Atlas is a certified nutjob.

...I can kind of understand his deal in that situation but the Lalonde thing sounds really bizarre.
