Ugh. Not looking forward to this one as far as the game goes cuz I could see all sorts of sh^t happening either way in this one. But looking forward to watching it.

It is a tough one in part because none of their fights have been on tv.I have seen the streams of both of their last couple fights but its harder to go back and watch them again or just a quick rewind to see something.I know you can do a lot of this online(youtube) but I HATE watching it on puter.

When there are fights with a big favorite, I offer a free bonus multiplier on the underdog that is on top of any you choose to use.

Like last week, there was a 1.75X bonus multiplier on Briedis. Which meant if Briedis had won, those picks would be worth 1.75x the usual amount.

In 50/50ish fights, there are no bonus multipliers.

There has been some discussion about whether it should be the other way around. That I should offer more pts for 50/50 fights than wide fights (even when picking the underdog). It didn't get enough traction I feel to change the rules this year.

I like the way you do the underdog getting more if he is a big dog.Just my 2 cents(if their worth even that)lol

From what I understand, there is no incentive to put your multiplier on 50/50 fights.

If you put them on very safe fights you get your points times the multiplier.

If you put them on 50/50 fights you get the same result, but have more risk to come out with zero points.

If you put them on underdogs, you get the underdogs multiplier with your multiplier.

I dont know how to do it without f ucking with the balance, but there has to be an incentive to use the multiplier on 50/50 fights.

Taking the briedis fight for example. If you bet on Briedis close decision and he would have won a close decision.

You would have get 30 points * 1,75 = 52,5

Using a x3 multiplier on top you would have get = 157,5.


The maximum point with a x3 multiplier on usyk would have gained you 90 points.

A 3x multiplier on 50/50 fights should get you around 120-130 points to make it worthwile.

I like it the way it is on that part.Just the fact that its a 50/50 fight will separate the men from the boys lol.I would like to see more going to method(KO,Dec) and less on score like 20-7-3 instead of 20-5-5.Not sure how many others would agree but I think with the judges scoring being so off sometimes you should get more for result and method then detail imo.
