Comments Thread For: Ohara Davies Inks Promotional Pact With Frank Warren

Ohara Davies has signed an exclusive promotional deal with Hall of Fame Promoter Frank Warren and will make his BT Sport and BoxNation debut at The 02 on Saturday 14th April. Davies, 25, has won 16 of his 17 professional contest and will be aiming to fight his way into World Title contention after a frustrating few months. The talented Londoner has been out of the ring since his explosive sixth-round stoppage victory over Tom Farell in September.

He didn't get the memo, unless your AJ if you say anything controversial at Matchroom/Sky you will be penalised.

I think it has to do with Ohara being thick and unwilling to change his dumb ways than Matchroom wanting to be seen as PC. Maybe a bit of both.

Re: Ohara, he did apologise for offending all those he did and explained his comments and did say he was going to change. Its one rule for one and something for the others. I do like AJ but I'm just saying.

Joshua determined that Davies is not part of the superior race and had him kicked out.

Maybe you're right but I can guarantee you if AJ said what Ohara did it would get plenty of media attention, they don't have a stake in matchroom and only care for clicks so I don't really get the Ohara sympathy.

This is exactly what it is.

Hearn has said in the past he expects fighters to act a certain way, because there is corporate sponsors involved in events.

of course, they did sweep Joshua's superior black race messages under the carpet but there's no way they were going to do anything to their cash cow, he's a big part of the reason the corporate sponsors are involved anyway.

No he's not. He didn't have guidance. Since he's signed with MTK Global you see somebody who's looking out for his career and image
